One-On-One Lessons $300

You will be taught the fundamentals of how to apply makeup as a beginner, you might also benefit from the course if you know how to do your makeup but want to learn about the right brushes, products, and techniques to use to improve your skills.

The class will be 2 hours only which includes:
- Skincare & makeup consultation (30 mins)
- List of products suitable to your skin type (30mins)
- Learn tips and tricks on doing quick makeup looks (2 looks per lesson only, 30 minutes per look)
- Learn the application techniques for each look.

Note: Please bring your makeup products with you when you come for the lesson. $300 for two makeup looks per lesson.

Policies & Procedures

Deposit:

A non-refundable deposit for each person requiring services must be received to secure any bookings. The amount for the deposit depends on the service you booked. Bookings work on a first come first serve basis with a deposit given. Contact us for details on the deposit amount.

Bookings are only secured with a deposit payment.

• All Rates are subject to HST including CASH payments.

• We accept Cash and e-transfers only, cheques are not accepted.

• We start earliest at 5 a.m.

• Early hours start (5 am-6 am) will incur a fee of $25 for every hour.

• Prices are subject to change at any time. Rates are only guaranteed if stated on the estimate you receive from us must not be expired or if a deposit has been received for your services.

• On weekdays (Monday - Friday) we're available at 7 am. Any appointment start times before 7 am, which don’t apply to group bookings, are subject to an early start fee of $25 per hour before 7 am, this will be charged per staff member. Please inquire further.

• If anyone in your event is 30+ minutes late and the artist is left with no one to work on, the artist may have to cut services to finish on time. The client will then lose out on the total cost of the services that they have pre-paid for and a late fee charge of $50 may apply to each client who is late.

• We can’t be held accountable for any allergic reactions that may occur during or after our services or any damages which occur to your belongings, persons, or property as a result of the makeup services. We always suggest a trial to test that the ingredients in our products agree with you.

• The remaining balance on your invoice is due 1 week before your event booked with us. This applies to all mobile bookings, as well as in-studio group bookings. Late payments will be charged $20 per day late.

• Once the retainer has been received, no services can be deducted from the invoice. Doing so will result in a loss of retainer towards the specific service(s) you want removed. After payment, the retainer is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. If time allows and you wish to add services, we always try to be accommodating given we have the availability to do so.

Bridal Trial

• Trials are offered Monday to Friday from 7 am-10 pm at our studio (time can be flexible) 10 pm being the last appointment start time since trials can take anywhere from 2 - 3.5 hours.

• Each trial has a 3 makeup looks limit and 30 minutes per makeup look time limit.

• To book your Bridal Trial; we require your e-transfer/cash. If you cancel your weekday trial with less than 48 hours notice then you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. The same applies to the weekday engagement shoots.

• Friday-Sundays are available for trials. Since trials are very long, on the weekends we might be booked for special events and wedding bookings, call/ e-mail to book an appointment.

• Booking a trial does not secure your wedding date or time. Only an accepted deposit does. However, following your trial you will be given a 3-day grace period to decide if you would like to move forward with your booking by the means of a deposit.

Mobile Policies

• A minimum booking of 4-5 people is required per service type and staff for any weekend mobile bookings (Friday-Sunday). If you are unable to meet that requirement, we could still honour your party's services but your quote would reflect our base charge. For weekday bookings, if our availability permits, we may make an exception to our mobile minimum. A mobile fee would be applied.

• A base travel fee of $15 is applied to all mobile bookings and $1/km thereafter from our location. This will be applied per staff member to travel out to your location.

• If there are any parking tolls/fees for travel then these are to be paid for on the day of the event.

 

Media Release Consent

• All photos taken by any artists from Fatima Raza MUA or the photographer on the day of the wedding may be used for promotional use (e.g. social media, portfolio, website). You can request your assigned artists that no photos be taken if you don’t want to be photographed or use of your photos for promotional purposes.

 

Cancellation Policies

• If you cancel your contract with less than 60 days notice you are required to pay 50% of the remaining balance on your invoice. If you cancel your contract with less than 30 days' notice you are required to pay 100% of the remaining balance on your invoice.

• For instance, if an emergency arises, or something occurs beyond our staff members' control (e.g. sickness, car accidents) and we are unable to send the artist you have initially booked, then we will send another qualified hair or makeup artist to the job. If for some reason that is not possible, then a full refund of the total you have paid will be paid back to you for the service(s) that weren’t able to be fulfilled.

• If a wedding is forced to cancel due to a state of emergency such as a natural disaster or global pandemic, then we will grant a complete date transfer within the same calendar year. Please note, that we must be consulted to find a new suitable date, if you choose a date when our company is not available then you will be forfeiting the retainer. Rebooking costs may be associated.
